Sports and Elections

The weekend is coming to an end. It was an exciting weekend for sports and for activities. One of the best football games that I have seen in a while was Saturday night, and of course it was a college game. Texas Tech beat Texas in the last few seconds of the game. It was really exciting, and I loved it. I am not a UT fan at all. You just don't see this kind of atmosphere in pro football, only college, both teams wanted to win and the players gave it their all for their team not just for their selves. The Cowboys continued their downward spiral, by losing to the Giants. This didn't really bother me too much, since I am not really a pro football fan much any more.

We took the youth to the corn field maze today and everyone seemed to have a good time. Lots of activities coming up in the next several weeks with thanksgiving and then Christmas, wow this year has just flown by so quick.

We vote on Tuesday. What do you say about that, not sure. I know who I am going to vote for, and I know who I hope wins. Either way we must remember that God is in control and that he still loves us. Who knows what Gods plan is for all of us. No matter who becomes our next President, we must all just trust God and pray for who ever our President is and pray for our country and trust God. I know one thing, I am tired of hearing all about it on the news. I think that most news organizations would like to see the election go on for another few months. Its funny how the news channels don't report news, they all seem to have an agenda. I know that Saturday Night Live would love to see the election go on a few more months, they are loving it. I don't watch SNL, but I do know that they are having a ball. Hope everyone has a great week.

I heard that he spoke at the Hereford youth ralley. So I know that he does that sort of thing. I bet we could get something set up.

I agree with your opinion of pro football vs. college football. College is so much more fun to watch. Money and politics really change the game. Of course, that exists on every level but it seems more obvious in pro.
