A Melissa

I pulled a what I would call a "Melissa." On Tuesday we had to take Cheryl's car to Amarillo to get some things done to it. I left the house first in my pickup to meet her there. When I got on I 27 and had gone about a mile, I looked in my mirror and saw Cheryl coming up behind me to pass me. My windows are tinted so it was hard to see inside her car through my mirror, but it looked like someone was with her in the passenger seat, but I thought, no I am just seeing the head rest on the passenger seat. As the vehicle pulled up beside me, I turned to it and blew it a kiss! To my surprise it was not Cheryl, but a couple in a car that was the same make and color as hers. I immediately thought of "Melissa" for some reason, thinking this is sounds like one of her stories.

We all should keep Cody and Melissa and their family in our prayers. Cody's mom fell off of a roof, while she was trying to put up Christmas lights. She is in BSA with several broken bones, they are not sure if they will have to do surgery or not. Please say a prayer for them today.

Wow, we have a new President. It was really of no surprise that Obama would win. Like him or not he ran a better campaign than John McCain. I am glad that it is over, I was tired of it being on the news every day and the pointing of fingers every day was really getting old. So what do we do now? I think that the answer is to pray. I am reminded that God is still in charge. I pray that our new President will be good. I do not want to see him fail, because if he fails than our country fails. I did not vote for him, but I pray that he is a good President for our country, and I hope that we all come together and pray that he leads us in a way that God will shine through and our country will continue to be great. I pray that we get behind him, even if we did not vote for him and help bring our country together, one nation under God. I think God that we live in the country that we live in. God bless the USA and God bless you.

I should probably resent that in some sort of way.
