Rain

We have gotten a lot of rain the last several days. Rain seems to put a smile on everyone face:) Sunday after we came home from church, I found our garage that we are enclosing making an office out of it, was flooded. It had rained so much that the water off the roof had backed up and was running some how under the foundation. I had to borrow a wet vac to clean it up. Just about the time I got it all dry, here came the rain again, flooding it again. The office is not finished, no carpet down, just the cement. I got it all cleaned up for the second time, but during that time I found myself saying "God please stop the rain." and also singing "rain, rain go away come back again another day." I wondered if this is maybe what the people were saying after Noah closed the door on the ark and it started raining. I spent all day Monday putting up rain gutters to catch the rain water and direct it away from our future office.

Kyla and Dylan went to the lake with Cheryl's parents. They come home tomorrow afternoon. Kyla text's us everyday, she said Dylan caught two fish on Monday. I know that he is excited about that. We miss them and are ready for them to come home. School starts on Monday, Kyla's last year in JR. High and Dylan's last year at Highland. Next year will be High School and Swinburn. It all goes fast!
