Frustrated

I am pulling my hair out. I am trying to update my "blog template." I got one from a really cool web sight, got it on the blog, decided I did not like it, uploaded the old one while I found another one. Now I can not get the one that I like to work, and I lost a lot of my links and fav. blog links on the blog. So I am giving up for now, will try again another time. So if things look a little different and you see some things missing, hopefully I will have it all back soon. I know I have so many readers that will be disappointed in the way things look.

We took the youth group to Wonderland park on Saturday. They all had a blast. There was 20 in all that went. It was a lot of fun. I don't ride many rides, so I was in the arcade a lot. I did get high score on centipede, 140,000. It was fun, have not played it in a long time. It took about $3.00 to get the high score, but I got it!

Remember the town of Childress in your prayers. They had a tornado Sunday night. There is lots of clean up to do, Trey and his family are OK, and are helping with the clean up.

My Lakers won last night. The series goes back to Boston. I don't know if they can hold on and make it to a game 7 or not. I have been a Lakers fan since the early 80's. Loved the old Lakers and Boston games, they were fun to watch. This series is OK, but not like they were in the 80's. I really don't watch that much NBA, but I had to watch this finals. Go Lakers!!

Our VBS is coming up in a couple of weeks. I am kinda nervous about it. Hope that we can get it all together and have lots of kids show up. We have a bunch of ladies that are great help and are more experienced than I am. Thanks to all of you that are helping.

Dylan started swimming lessons today. This is his 3rd year. He just has not caught on to it yet. I pray that this year he will catch on, he is a little like me, does not like the water much. I can swim, but do not care for lakes or pools that much. Kyla on the other hand is like a fish. Dylan is also playing machine pitch baseball. He did really good at all the practices, hit the ball really good. Here at home, when I pitch to him, he hits it. Gets to the ball park on game day, and has only hit the ball once. Nerves I guess, but I know that he will hit some good ones before the year is over.

Seems like summer is going by really fast. Kyla has her last B-ball tournament this weekend, and then we have VBS the next week end. Then the 4Th of July after that. Then the middle of July we have church camp with the kids in Oklahoma. Its been busy and its going to get even worse. We still need to take a vacation with the kids, not sure how we are going to fit it all in. Who was it that said, "Part Time Youth Minister?"
