Lets all remember to pray for Joda and her family, she lost her grandfather this week and the funeral is today, at Calvary Baptist Church. We love you Joda, and we are here for you if you need anything at anytime. We pray that God will comfort your family.
Kyla has a basketball tournament in Bushland. She played her first two games last night. They won both and will now play in the championship game on Saturday. These 7Th grade girls have really gotten good. They played a really close game last night against Bushland. Bushland beat us before Christmas last year by two points, we won last night by 14, but it was a really close game. I love basketball, I played in High school and some in college. I realized last night how much I love to watch my daughter play. Every time she would steal the ball, or make a great pass or make a point, my chest swelled with pride. I am so proud of her, she really works hard and is very dedicated to the game. Tears come to my eyes as I think of the way she plays the game, and the way she conducts herself on the court. I can not help but to be very prideful of her abilities. God has given her a great talent, and she uses it to the best of her abilities. I thank God for my children, they bring me such delight. I ask for your prayers for Dylan, he has the flu and is very sick, he is just having a hard time. Stock Shows are this weekend, and I am not looking forward to it. I am ready to get it behind us. We have a conflict, Kyla has a game Monday, the day of the county stock show, she decided that she would rather play basketball than show the pig. So we must get someone to show for her. She told me, "dad I like showing my pig, but I like playing basketball better." I think I must agree with her, I like watching her play basketball, better than I like watching her show her pig. The basketball is about her abilities and her teammates abilities and putting all of that together as a team.
