Who's Your Santa??

So is Santa real or not? This time of year all of the small children are talking about what Santa is going to bring them for Christmas. As parents, not wanting to break their hearts, we spend a lot of time keeping the big secret safe. I remember as a child trying to stay up just to get one peek at the bearded man in the red and white suite, I never made it always fell asleep before he came. I remember asking my Mom and Dad, how was Santa going to get into the house we had no fire place. Dylan before we moved into a house with a fire place would ask the very same question. We told him that Santa has a crystal ball and he can go any where he wants in a blink of an eye. Wow Santa has upgraded since I was a kid, my Mom and Dad told me that they would leave the door unlocked so that Santa could get in the house. Now that we live in a house with a fire place Dylan is excited that Santa will be coming down our chimney.
So what about Santa, is he real? What do you think? For me I have decided that Santa is real. Yes I believe in Santa Claus. My Santa comes in different forms of different people. I think that in order to be a Santa, you must have a heart of giving and caring, and be a Santa that not only gives at Christmas, but all year around. I have several people in my life that are my Santa's. Here is my list.
  1. My Wife: (She has taught me how to be compassionate to people, how to love and she has the biggest heart ever. She loves to help others and asks nothing in return.
  2. My Son: (He takes after my wife, he truly believes in Santa with all of his heart, but what he does not know is that he is my Santa, he loves to help people, he loves to give gifts, he loves to make people happy.)
  3. My Daughter: She has taught my a lot about patience, since becoming a teenager. She truly tries to put God first in her life and she loves everyone, she is the peace maker with her group of friends, she gives the gift of peace wherever she goes.
  4. Our Youth Group: You guys are my Santa because, you give me a lot of joy and you teach me more and more every week.
  5. Our Church: When I go to our Church, my worries are left at the door because, of the great fellowship that we have, our Church gives my peace of mind.

If we all think about it, and really define who Santa really is, we all have Santa's in our lives. This is a great time of year, a time for giving, but the great thing about my Santa's is that they give all year around.

So who is your Santa, do you have more than one??

The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own brothers. You must listen to him.
