Heaven

I told you in last nights blog that we were going to a funeral, of a very close friend of my parents. As we sat in the church I thought of many things. Mostly about the memory that I had of our friend Emagene. She was a wonderful lady, who will be deeply missed by the church and by my parents. I thought a lot about Heaven today, and what it must be like. I know that Emagene is there rejoicing with the Angels and is probably knitting Jesus an Afghan. What is Heaven going to be like, some things that I have thought of, some I know are scriptural some just my idea.
  1. No worries
  2. No tears
  3. No pain
  4. No Frustrations!
  5. Never being tired
  6. Always happy, smile on everyone face
  7. seeing Jesus will be awesome
  8. Not being tired
  9. Temperature being just right, not too cold not too hot, but just right
  10. Not being hungry
  11. Always feeling satisfied
  12. I won't have to wear my glasses
  13. Dylan would say Grandad will be able to hear
  14. Having no temptations
  15. Hugs from Jesus
  16. never being uncomfortable again
  17. Not having to worry about what time it is
  18. never rushed

Just some of the things that I have thought today, what are your thoughts about Heaven, what do you look forward to the most? I know that my youth group probably will say, looking forward to no more HOMEWORK!!!

Hope that all of you are having a great week. Looking forward to seeing you all Wed. night. Cheryl and I are going to Amarillo Tuesday night. My dad and his brothers are getting an award from the Quarter Horse Association, will post more on that later.

1 Corinthians 15:40

There are also heavenly bodies and there are earthly bodies; but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is one kind, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is another.

The music with big choirs is what I can't wait for in Heaven, also the no pain and being happy all the time, but most of all, being in awe of Jesus and being able to sit and have a face to face conversation with him and him being able to answer all the questions I have ever wondered.
