There were 21 of us that went to the corn maize today. Wow how our group has grown. Thanks to everyone that went, we really had a great time. Hope all of you had fun. Its really great just being together, being with all of you takes my mind off of everyday things and helps me focus on what is really important in life. All of us growing closer together and closer to God.
As I sit here and blog, I can hear the wind blowing outside. Fall is at our door step. I really like this time of year, except the wind. I like it when it starts to cool off and the leaves start to turn colors. I enjoy it being cool outside at night and I am all toasty and warm inside.
I ask all of you to keep me and my family in your prayers. Cheryl and I are going to a funeral tomorrow afternoon in Bovina. One of my parents really good Friends that live across the street from them died Saturday morning. She was a really great Friend to my parents and I remember her as one of the nicest sweetest ladies that I have ever known. She has been in a nursing home for the past several months. Her passing was really a blessing, because she was a great Christian lady that is now in heaven and has no pain. It is hard to understand sometimes, even at my age. Please all of you remember Cheryl and I, and especially my parents in your prayers tonight and tomorrow. This will be hard on them.
