There is a story about a little boy that fell out of bed. When his mom asked him what happened, he answered "I don't know. I guess I stayed too close to where I got in."
This is easy to do with our faith. It is tempting to just stay where we got in at and never move. Think back to a year ago this time, and ask yourself these questions:
- How does my prayer life today compare with then? More or less
- How about your giving? not just money, but service, giving of my time to God?
- Has your joy increased?
- Your church loyalty?
- Bible study?
Can you tell that you have grown spiritually from a year ago? Wednesday night we are going to talk about spiritual goals. We will each set goals for ourselves, goals that we want to reach one year from now. We are all at a different place spiritually, so not all of your goals will be the same. The point will be to set goals that will help you grow closer to God. So be thinking about what your goal will be.
We went to Littlefeild tonight to play volleyball, it was a long drive. We have been traveling a lot on Mondays to out of town games. Thankfully next Monday we play at home for a change. Then basketball will start and we will be going again.
I talked to Robin today and Tell is doing OK. He hopes to get to come home in the next day or two. Lets remember him in our prayers, he has a long road ahead of him. We will see all of you on Wed. night. Hope all of you are having a great week.

Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst.
