New family member / Painting

The picture above is our new family member "Mr. Wiggly." Dylan, my dad and I all traveled to Blanchard Oklahoma over the weekend to get "Mr. Wiggly." He is a little bit lost as he is getting use to his new home and new surroundings. I really think that he is one of the best pigs we have had yet. He will be with us till about Mid January, unless we decide to show at Houston or FT. Worth or somewhere. He weighs probably about 75 pounds, we will weigh him next weekend to find out for sure. Does any one know what FFA stand for??????? Answer below!!!

FFA stand for "Father feeds animals." We are actually in 4-H, well Kyla is anyway. Dylan still has two more years to go before he can show, he can't wait, he loves farm animals.

Kyla has always done a good job of helping out with feeding really, although I give her a hard time about what I call "FFA." We are not into the showing as much as some, but we enjoy taking care of the pigs, and we have all learned a lot. Kyla would do just about everything, but give shots last year that was my job.I hope that we do not have to do much of that this year. We had some sick ones last year that we had to doctor a lot.

We painted some of the youth room today. We painted two walls, and cleaned up the room and it already looks a lot better, a lot cleaner and more organized. Thanks to all of you that came and helped.

I think that we got more paint on each other than we did the walls!!!

The important thing is though that we were together and we had fun!! We will try to finish the rest in a couple of weeks.

Don't forget that we will be going to the corn maze in Amarillo next Sunday. Also congratulations to our band, they got all ONE's this weekend and will be going to Area competition in two weeks, Great job guys!
Remember to continue to pray for Tell Stewart, he had surgery again this morning and is doing good. He will be in the hospital for most of this week. If you get a chance call him, he has his cell phone with him and would love to hear from you. He is in North West Texas hospital in room 308 in tower C.
Hope that all of you have a great week, and I look forward to seeing all of you on Wed. night. Thanks for your attendance and thanks for the encouragement that all of you give me, you are an awesome group of young adults!!!
