Waiting game

When you see two men standing outside of a department store, you know what is going on, the wife " is shopping!" Waiting is something that i am not very good at, although i have gotten a lot better the last year. I have prayed that God change me in this area and he really, really has. I use to be so inpatient, don't get me wrong i still have a ways to go to be the most patient person in the world, but with God's help i am getting there. I have decided that getting upset while waiting on something is just not worth it. I figured out that when i prayed for Patience that God does not just "zap" you with patience. God gives you opportunities to be patient, so when i find myself in a situation that i have to wait on something or someone, i say to myself, "this is my opportunity that God has given me." So anyway i wanted to make a list of "the opportunities" that God has given me since i have asked for patience. The places and the things that i have to wait on.
  • The doctors office waiting room: (sorry Cody)
  • The doctors office after they get you out of the waiting room and put you in that little room and you are waiting for the doctor: (sorry again Cody)
  • Wife shopping
  • Wife getting ready to go some where (I love you honey and your worth the wait)
  • Line at the store or Wal-mart, there are 1,000 people in line with only 2 checkers
  • Waiting for the computer to download something or get on Internet (that is sad)
  • Waiting behind someone at a light and the light has turned green and they don't know it yet, and you want to just lay on the horn.
  • When i was a kid waiting on Christmas. Now that i am an adult, Christmas seems to get here too soon.
  • Waiting to get a seat at a restaurant on a Saturday night
  • Waiting for your teen age daughter to do her hair in the morning
  • Waiting for a rebate to come in the mail (God recently has given me this opportunity)
  • Trying to find a house for your parents:

So there it is my list. This is just a partial list of course. These are things that God has really helped me on the last year or so. I thank him for that, God is awesome!! I pray that he continue to work on me, i know he will.

So do you have anything that you are waiting on? Did i leave anything out?

Tuesday 25th

When a calf, a lamb or a goat is born, it is to remain with its mother for seven days. From the eighth day on, it will be acceptable as an offering made to the LORD by fire.

Wednesday 26th

I will sacrifice a thank offering to you and call on the name of the LORD.

Thursday 27th

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

Friday 28th

How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!

Cody doesn't even like waiting for the doctor. When we take the kids it drives him crazy, he just goes to his office and tells me to call him when they get there.

I hate waiting to get there when Kenneth is driving. Guess who?

He recently told me that I was the most impatient woman he new. Told him it was high time he figured that out.

Guess ya think I oughta work on it, don't ya? Yeh. Thanks for the encouragement.
