There has been a lot of controversy over Iran's President coming to the US and speaking at Columbia University. I saw some of that speech yesterday as we were getting ready to go to our volleyball game. I don't know if he should have been allowed to speak or not, but during this speech as i watched him and tried to figure out just what he was saying, i thought how blessed i am to live in this country. I hear a lot of talk about how bad our government is how bad our President is, then i see this man and think of how his people live and i think how blessed i am. I thank God that i live in a land that i am free to do what i want, and think what i want. This is a great country. Some might not agree with our Presidents policies, but we should realize how blessed we are to live in a country that we can disagree with our government. I have decided that i don't think that i am Republican, or Democrat, i just want to see our country come together under God. I pray for our country today, and i thank God that i live where i live, and i pray for our missionaries that are in some of these country's spreading God's word. Now that i am off of my soap box, we played really good in Childress yesterday, but got beat. I think it was the best game that we have played yet. Good job Kyla and Kristen and the rest of the teams. We all got to see Trey which is always good, thanks to him for coming out to see us. Phillip has a football game here on Thursday, so lets remember him, good luck Phillip. The Varsity travels to Panhandle so remember those guy's as they travel. Don't forget about Friday lunch at the church, and bring a freind. Also Wednesday night we will talk about "encouraging words." Hope to see all of you there. Thanks to Joda and Jake for posting the verse's. I know that some of you other guys are getting on here, because you have told me, so look up the verse in the left hand corner and post it. See all of you on Wednesday.

Matt, I'm taking notes on how to be politically correct from you ---you did a fine job and I do agree that what we need is to persue God as if our freedom to worship our Christian God was about to be lost. We all need to be thanking God often for the privlidges we have here and pray for this nation, our children, and our leaders as if there were no tomorrow.
