I will never forget.....

I turned 40 this year! I don't know if turning 40 has anything to do with my memory getting bad, but it seems like this last year i forget a lot of things. I was thinking about this last night and thought you know there are some things that have happened in my life that no matter how bad my memory is i will never forget. So here are 40 things that have had an impact on my life over the last 40 years, that i will never forget. Hope you enjoy and some things might need some explaining, might do that in later posts. These are in no particular order.

1) The time that my dad came to the front of the church and took me out for talking in church!

2) My parents telling me that i was adopted.

3) A panel falling on me when i was a kid while helping my dad work cattle, it gave me a concussion.

4) My dad carrying me to the house in his arms after #3 happened.

5) My cousins bringing me a stuffed monkey named "Snubby" when i was in the hospital after number 3 happened.

6) My other cousins bringing my a "Mr. Potato Head" while in the hospital after number 3 happened.

7) My cat "ribbons" she slept above my head every night when i was a kid.

8) My dog "Dot"

9) My dog "Rusty"

10) My horse Ladie

11) Our pet cow "Pet"

12) Our farm North of Bovina, where i was raised till in the 6th grade and we sold it.

13) Being shot out of a tree by a bottle rocket on the 4th of July when i was in the 4th grade.

14) Hitting my sister with a dirt claude in the back of the leg "Sorry sis", it was a good throw

15) The first time my dad took me hunting

16) My dad telling me that he would never put me in danger.

17) Being lost on my Grandparents Ranch in Colorado

18) Kyla and me being bucked off of a horse

19) Being hit in the eye with a dirt claude by my cousin. He made a good throw as well!!

20) My first Job

21) Going to see my Grandmother and Grandad Howell in Weatherford at Thanksgiving every year.

22) My first vehicle

23) When i got Baptized

24) When i Graduated High School

25) When i met my wife

26) When i was married

27) Cheryl and I first apartment after we were married

28) When we bought our first home

29) When our Children were born

30) When i finally grew up and let God start working in my life

31) Where i was on 9/11

32) Seeing my dreams of owning my own business come true.

33) My sons prayers

34) My wifes heart

35) My daughter being baptized

36) Finding my birth mom

37) my daughters first Basketball game in AAU

38) Dylans first T-ball game

39) My cousin losing his arm in a farm accident

40) How wonderful my family is, and how blessed i am to have them.
