Children's Home
Sunday after church we are going to High Plains Children's Home in Amarillo. You can check out their web sight at www.hpch.org. This will be an awesome experience for us all. Please make plans to be there. We will have a picnic at the gazebo. High Plains, attempts to provide a natural home environment to kids that have been neglected, abandoned, orphaned or abused. They give each child a chance at "normal" childhood. They give these kids an opportunity to work, play, social development and spiritual growth. We can be a part of these by helping where we can. The picture below is of the trailer that we loaded last Sunday with wood. We will be delivering this wood on Sunday. Thank you to each one of you that came out and helped. This will help these kids a lot. So make plans to be there on Sunday and go with us and meet some of these kids, we will all be encouraged by it, and i know that the kids at High Plains will be encouraged by it as well. 
Sunday morning we will be in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4. We will talk about God comforting us. Try to read this before Sunday morning and i want you to think about two questions. Where or what makes you feel comfortable, and Where or what makes you feel uncomfortable? Tonight is Homecoming and Teddy, Lori, Jake and Kati will be playing in the band.
