Service Work

What an awesome experience it was to go to the Children's Home!! We unloaded the wood and had a picnic with some of the kids from the home. Thanks to all of you that went and also thanks to the AIM kids for all the help. We got to tour the home and i know that it brought us all closer to each other and closer to God. All of you expressed that you would have liked to hang out more with some of the kids at the home, so maybe we will do that some time later. I know that they would like that as well.
Jake stacking wood!! Way to go Jake!

Everyone did a great job helping! Thanks for all of your hard work!

It unloaded a lot faster than it loaded.
We will be heading for Childress later today. Kyla and Kristen have a volleyball game there today. We are all so busy during the week, everyone going in different directions. I thought that Eben's lesson last night was really good. We all need each other to survive and to grow. So even though we are all going in different directions during the week, lets try to keep in touch as much as we can, and encourage each other. I think that Wednesday night we will talk about "encouraging words" and how to encourage one another. I think we all need that! I hope that this blog will help us all do that, keep in touch during the week and encourage one another. Feel free to come here and leave messages for each other, and encourage each other. I look forward to seeing each of you on Wednesday night. We had some really good ideas on how we wanted to paint our youth room, we will talk about that as well and try to do that in the next week or so. Remember that God loves all of us and lets all be praying for each other during the week. Pray for all of us that will be traveling to Childress today. Also remember our theme:
Dare to Be Different!!

I love serving and making it fun. Our kids did a work camp last summer for a week. I thought, "They'll never make it all week." They loved it.

We need to encourage our young people to do more things like this.
