In the picture my dad is on the right side and then my TWO Moms are on the left. Yes my TWO moms. See i am adopted. My Dad and my Mom, on the far left are my parents that adopted me at birth. My birth mom is the second from the left. I have known that i was adopted from about the age of 9 or 10 and never had a problem with it. I was raised in a really good family in an awesome family actually. I found my birth mom in 1999 after searching for her for several years off and on. God brought her into my life at the right time, and i think that God brought me into her life at the right time as well. Both of my moms and my dad got together a few years ago when this picture was taken, my moms have a really great relationship with each other, it has truly been a blessing.
When a i tell people about being adopted, i always get the question, do you feel bad that you were given up. I always say "i was not given up i was chosen." I thank my birth mom for what she had to do, it was hard for her and i love her very much for it. I thank my mom and my dad for choosing me, and i thank them all for having a loving relationship with each other and with me today. God has blessed us so much in all of this. It is amazing to me to see Gods plan work out. He had a plan for me at birth, and i now see that plan working in my life and it is amazing.
God has chosen you as well. We should all feel special that God loves us so much and that he has chosen us. He has chosen each one of you to love and to take care of and to raise. I think that is the most awesome thing to be chosen by God. You guys in our youth group remember that when you think that you are all alone and have no one to turn to, remember you have been chosen by God and he is always there for you. I am very blessed to have two moms and i thank God for both of them and i love both of them very much.
So do any of you have any special chosen stories?

I'm thankful that God has chosen me. I've done nothing to deserve being chosen ... but he still chose me.
Oh Matt, your story moved me so much. Thank You for sharing that. God choose you long before you were born with a purpose in mind. You have been a real blessing to me, and I thank you and Cheryl for your outstanding spiritual leadership.
God truly blessed my life the day that we found each other. I'm so proud of you - you are such a wonderful person, son, husband, and father. I praise God everyday for blessing me with you.
