Last Game

Kyla played her last football, oh i mean basketball game last night. It was like a football game though. She went to the doctor today and found out that she has bruised ribs, and possibly torn ligaments. They will know more tomorrow. So her Jr. High career of basketball is over. The team did really good we only lost 3 games all season and I think we only lost those games by a total of about 10 points. They really played great all season long. Kyla hit a 3 pointer last night, after she hurt her ribs, and we really needed it at the time. Childress was trying to come back on us and it was getting tight. I was the proud father in the stands of course.
Our school really needs to think about getting official refs to do our Jr. High games. I respect the ones that are doing the reffing, because most people, especially those who sit in the stands and yell at refs, are not willing to put a stripped shirt on and ref. But we are going to get someone hurt one of these day's and I would hate to see that. I think that the school has a responsibility to keep our kids as safe as possible.
We went to the Varsity games tonight, we played Childress. It was a couple of good games and we got to see Trey, it is always good to see him. Continuing Ed classes in Amarillo tomorrow and KFC tomorrow night. Ski trip this weekend!
