Early Morning Prayer Group

Our new preacher, Bruce Baird has started a men's prayer group on Monday mornings at 6:30. We are reading a book called "Falling Away." We have read the first two chapters that have been very interesting. It talks about how the Bible warns us about falling away, and some causes of falling away. We also make a list of people and things to pray about. I really enjoy the early morning. I am NOT an early morning person, but getting up and praying with this group and talking about God's word is something that I really need right now. I have been teaching the youth class for over a year now, and I need to be feed and I hope that this early morning group will help me with that.
I sometimes feel I am not getting feed enough, because I am teaching and not having an opportunity to be feed. I love teaching and I love being with the teens, (most of the time :) ) I sometimes feel out of touch with what is going on with adults in the congregation, My studies on preparing lessons are directed towards youth and teenagers, and sometimes I need more all of my time is spent with teens, again I love what I do, but at times I feel I need more. So I am excited about our prayer group and I thank Bruce for starting it, I know it is going to help me a lot! This morning was really cool, we prayed a thankful prayer, we came up with things that we wanted to Thank God for. We have so many blessings in our lives, I thank God for each of them and I thank him for putting me in the positions that he has put me, the places he has put me, I thank him for our youth group they are a blessing to me and I love them very much.
Blue box was last night, the lesson was on the "Breast Plate Of Righteousness." I had a hard time (FOR SOME REASON, HMMMMMMM, BRUCE) I get tongue tied sometimes, I found myself almost saying to the little ones "Breast PUMP of Righteousness." I can not imagine why I got that into my head. HMMMMMM, Bruce!!

You guys do a great job! This morning as Joshua was getting ready for school, he ran up to me and said "Mom you know what? God is with me all day and will protect me!" So you got through last night at least to one little guy.
