Water / Basketball theif
Our city bill was really high a few months ago, so I have really been trying to make sure that lights are turned off when they are not being used and when we leave. We use to be really bad about this. We would decide to go some where and just walk out of the house. When we would come home our house was light up like a Christmas tree, because we walked out and left every light in the house on. We are getting better about it and really trying to cut down on electricity and water usage. Well this morning I walked out into the back yard and the water faucet was on and the back yard was flooded. I just knew that Dylan was back there washing his bike and left it on. When I asked him about it, he said it was not him. So I am not sure who or what turned the water on, but I am not looking forward to the water bill.
We have had a dog hanging around our house every once in a while ever since we moved in last year. He has been really kinda harmless, until now. I used to be a dog and cat lover years ago, but I just got tired of cleaning up after them, fixing all the stuff they tore up, and bailing them out of jail when they got out and ran off. Well last night this dog stole one of our best basketballs. Dylan had been playing with the ball and the dog came up and stole it. We tried to get it from him but he ran from us. I could tell that he bit a hole in the ball because it was flat in his mouth. The last time we saw him he was running across the highway, looking back at us, as to say, "HA, HA, HA, YOU CAN'T CATCH ME!" I did not see the dog this afternoon when we got home, but I do have a little surprise for him when he shows back up. I will have the last laugh!!
Things seem to never slow down for us, we just go and go. Our office is coming along good. We have all the sheet rock up and we blew in insulation Saturday morning, I am still sneezing because of it. Kyla is playing volleyball. We go to Childress on Monday to play the bobcats. We take KFC, "Kids for Christ," to the amazingly Fun Farm in Amarillo Sunday after Pot Luck. This should be fun. A corn maize and corn cannon, can't beat that with kids Kindergarten through 5Th grade. Then KFC next Wensday night. We are trying to start getting LTC started some what as well. We wan to get an early start on it this year, so that we won't be so pressured at the first of the year trying to get it all done. We are going to need more help this year, we can't do what we have done in the past. I also have the Howell Family Reunion to start planning before long. I am not complaining, just thinking about all the stuff we have coming up, we would not have it any other way, well.............
