Friday

It's Friday, I like Friday's. On Friday's we have our high school Friday Lunch's. Last Friday was our first Friday Lunch and we feed 50 kids. It was a great turn out. We hope for that great turn out again this week as well. There are some very special ladies that make this happen each week. If it was not for these ladies we could not have our Friday lunch's. They do the work, and I get to go and pick up the kids that can not drive in our church van, and then take them back to school. Thank you to all you ladies that make this happen every Friday.

Friday, is also casual day for most business in town. You get to mostly wear what you want to work on Friday's. Friday, everyone is making plans for the weekend, most everyone is in a great mood of Friday's around town.

Friday's is pep rally day, and its also "Friday Night Lights," high school football on Friday nights. I love to watch high school football. Pro football can not touch what happens on high school football fields on Friday nights. Kids coming together for one common goal, no not getting paid to do it, they do it because they love it and because they have pride in their school. I used to ref high school football, and I saw some amazing things out of high school kids, that you will never see on Sunday afternoons pro games. I also love to watch all of the highlight shows on Friday night. When I was a ref, I always wanted to get home as soon as possible to try and see if I could see my self on one of the highlight shows, begin yelled at by a coach of a fan. It was fun, but I just got too much other stuff going on now to be reefing on Friday nights.

Today on this Friday, I will help feed around 50 teens, and then I am going to go see a good friend of mine. I pray that what ever you do on this great Friday, God will bless you. I ask that you pray for me today as I help feed teens and as I go and see my good friend. Have a great Friday.
