Back To School

It's that time again, time for school bells, tests, homework, and Friday Night Football. The kids went back to school this morning. Kyla going into 8Th grade. I can not believe it, she is growing up so fast. Next year, High School!!! Where has the time gone, seems like just yesterday she was starting kindergarten, it goes so fast. Dylan starts 2ND grade, his last year at Highland. They both rode the bus this morning, I miss taking them to school, Dylan was so excited about riding the bus, he wanted to last year, but we never did let him, so this year he begged us to. Hope that all the kids have a great first week of school. I pray for safety for all of our kids every where, I pray for guidance and courage and wisdom for all of them as well.

I did a devo for some teen bull riders last night at the roping arena. There were about 12 boys there that are around 15 years old. I enjoyed doing it and hope that we were able to touch someones heart. We watched for a while as they rode, it was really exciting. We took the AIM kids with us as well. Some of them have never seen anything like it before and I think they enjoyed it, it was fun for all of us. I talked about riding for the brand, I hope they enjoyed it.

Our first Friday High School Lunch is this Friday, we are hoping for a great turn out. This is a great outreach to our young people of the community, if you would like to get involved please let me know. Hope everyone has a great day!
