Rejoicing

Last night after Church Katie Fowler, a member of our youth group was baptized. Katie came to us a couple of weeks ago and said that she thought she wanted to be baptized. We have been talking to her ever since and last night she was baptized in to Christ. This was the first time that I have baptized anyone, it was an honor to do so and I thank Katie for asking me to do it. Also thanks to Trey Morgan for the advice, does this mean that I am no longer a rookie?
I know that God is rejoicing with Katie's decision and we are all very proud of her. It is awesome to see our young people dedicate their lives to Christ. Congratulations Katie on your new life with Christ!

We are taking the youth group to Wonderland Park this Saturday, so please be praying for us. We leave at 2:00pm and will probably close the park down. It will never be the same. Our VBS is fast approaching, June 28Th, we are looking forward to a great group of kids from our community. Our theme is "Wild West," and we have a lot of great stuff planned.

I am also looking forward to our new preacher being here. Bruce will be here in about a month. He has a long trip to make from Alaska, and the further South that he goes the hotter it will get. Be praying for their safe trip, we are all looking forward to him being here. The fill in preachers are tired and I know that this fill in is running out of material to preach on.
