It's been a while

It's been a while since I have posted. So much going on in our lives and I do not see it slowing down anytime soon. Kyla has been running track and we have been going to track meets every weekend. Saturday was the district track meet in bushland, the wind blew really bad. Our 7Th grade girls placed 2ND in district, we were all so proud of them. We thought that now that track is over we could relax some, but now our little track star as we call her, is now wanting to become a little tennis star. She brought home a permission slip to play tennis, so here we go again. We love going to watch her and we are so proud of all that she does, but it seems its just one thing after the next. She is also in horse judging as well.

We had our LTC presentation Sunday morning, gave out the awards to the kids, we were so proud of all of them. We had some first time LTC participants this year that really loved it and really did very, very, good. They are already looking forward to next year. I was really proud of the way that our youth group supported each other at LTC. They all went to each others events, and told each other "good job" all of the time, our group is really getting closer each day, and growing closer to God as well. Being part of a youth group is so important. They lean on each other and they have a bond with each other, and they support each other so well.

Now that LTC is over it is time to get on to the next thing. Graduation is coming up and we have some seniors that attend our church that we will have a senior banquet for. Our congregation really does a lot for our young people, it is amazing the love that all of you have. It is so important to send these seniors off with encouragement from their home congregation. We will have this sometime in May and I am looking forward to it.

So we have been very busy and my mind has been full of all sorts of things, planning LTC stuff, thinking about senior banquet, and then there is VBS coming up soon, and also trying to make a living in my business as well. I tell myself, one thing at a time and with God's help we will make it all successful. I thank each of you for your support for Cheryl and I, since we have taken over the youth program, we love each of you so very much. A lot of you have wondered about our business since we have been on our own, I can say this, God is awesome, and it has been very, very, very, good, better than we had expected. We are very blessed people. More on this maybe later.
