Run

Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up, and knows that it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning the lion wakes up and it knows that it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve to death. It doesn't matter if you are a lion or a gazelle, when the sun comes up, you'd better be running! In the Christian life it is not enough to just wake up, we are called to run. If you are not seeking the lord, the devil is seeking you. Proverbs 11:27; He who earnestly seeks good finds favour, but trouble come to him who seeks evil.
We should seek God every day! Hebrews chapter 12 tells us that we are in a race. This race is not a sprint but a marathon. Run that race. It doesn't matter how we start the race, just how we finish. So as you wake up today, know that you have a race to run and focus on Jesus, he is cheering you on!

We had a great class last night! We talked a lot about the words that we used everyday, and how they influence our lives and the lives of others. Sunday we will continue with this theme and we will look at the words Christ used while on the cross. Hope to see all of you there. Don't forget that we have Friday lunch at the church, invite a Friend. Also remember Phillip has a football game today, he plays Panhandle here and the varsity goes to Panhandle on Friday. Lets remember all of these players and band members in our prayers.
