Luck of the Irish??

I do not like forwards in my e-mail box. Usually I will just delete them without even reading them. Sometimes I will open and scan through them really quick and then delete. I have gotten this one a couple of times in the last day or so.

It reads as follows:

Irish Friendship Wish:

May there always be work for your hands to do;

May your purse always hold a coin:

May the sun always shine on your windowpane:

May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain:

May the hand of a Friend always be near you:

May God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you:

All of these things really sound great for me, and can cheer me up and make me feel really great, but then you read on and it says:


OK, this is what you have to do.......

Send this to all of your friends, and you have to send it within ONE hour from when you open it! Make a wish and your wish will come true only if you send it. Depending on how many people you send it to, will depend on how quick your wish will come true;

Send it to:

1 person your wish will come true in 1 year

3 people--- 6 months

5 people---3 months

20 people-- 3 hours

And if you delete it you will have bad luck for 1 year: But if you send it to 20 of your friends you will automatically have 3 years good luck!

Thinking about this, I thought what do I need luck for I have God. I am so glad that God does not put stipulations on me in order for me to be blessed. I have Jesus Christ, who died for me, if I had nothing else, I am blessed. Luck, NO, I want my life and my blessings based on God not Luck. We should give God the glory for our good fortunes and our blessings, not luck, but God. I don't know how many of these e-mails I have gotten, and have deleted and so far no bad luck or good luck, but God has stilled blessed me. Thank you God!
