Comfort

Several of us got together last night at the Church and talked about the events of the day in Tulia. Then we prayed for the families and for everyone involved with everything. This is what a Church and a youth group is all about, being able to be there for each other when we are hurting. I know that a lot of you were upset over losing a friend and fellow school mate. It helped last night to get together and talk about those things and then go to our father in prayer and hand all of our feelings and thoughts to him. It makes me happy that we have a youth group that comes together and helps pick each other up and supports each other, and a group that understands how important prayer is.
Today is Friday lunch, we have been having about an average of 30 kids every Friday for our lunch. Remember to invite a friend, there is always great food and great fellowship together. Hope everyone has a great weekend. Don't forget the Christmas party at our house Sat. at 5:30pm, bring a Friend and a gift for a boy or a girl. Also we have the hay ride and Christmas caroling on Sunday night at 6:00. See all of you there!
