A Great Deal

The above picture is outside of a Best Buy on Late Thursday night or Friday morning. Shoppers camped outside of stores to get in to get a "Great Deal." I was not one of these shoppers, although I love a "Great Deal", I just did not want to camp out in the cold for one. A lot of people according to the newspapers actually got up at 2:00am to get to stores on time. Wow this is all dedication to shopping. All of these people got "Great Deals" on computers, MP3 players, I Pods, X Boxes, PlayStation's and lots of other great items, because of their dedication.

As I pulled up to the Church building this morning, I thought wouldn't it be great if we had that same line of campers camped outside of the Church building waiting to get inside for a "Great Deal?" What is the "Great Deal" that the Church offers, we offer "Great Deals", on Salvation through Christ. We need the same dedication to this "Great Deal", as we do the "Great Deal" at Best Buy. We sometimes make excuses of why we can not get to Church like, I can't get up that early, or I was out late last night so I decided to sleep in. I am afraid that some are missing out on the "Greatest Deal" of all, and it is up to us to make them aware that our "Great Deal," is always available and never runs out.

So invite someone to Church this week, someone that is maybe "unchurched," if that is a good word, someone that maybe does not know of our "Great Deal," and if you were one of the ones camped out to get a "Great Deal," I hope to see you in Church this week.

Oops did I step on some toes, hope not too bad! Love you guys!
