Friday Lunch

Today is Friday Lunch at the church. I really enjoy going and seeing all of the kids. We have had as many as 42 kids eat at the church at one time. I hope that everyone is inviting their friends, it is really good food and the ladies work really hard on it.

Remember that we are going to the corn maize Sunday after pot luck. You will need to bring some money to eat on and we will have you back around 7:30 or so.

We had a really good class on Wed. night. We all set goals that we want to achieve over the next year that will help us grow closer to God. We also named someone that would help us be accountable to those goals. If you are one of those people that is helping someone else be accountable to their goals, make sure that you are praying for them and asking them on a regular basis about their goals. My goals for the year are:

1. Praying more:
2. Reading my bible more
3. Putting God 1st in my life every day
4. concentrating on the blessings in my life more:

I know that together we can all achieve our goals. We wrote these goals down on paper, i hope that you put them some where that you will see them everyday. I am excited about growing closer to God with all of you.
