Bible Reading
I think that it is very important that we spend time in God's word everyday. I have been thinking about ways to get our youth group to do that. For the next couple of weeks i will post a bible verse on the top left hand corner of the blog. I will give you the book chapter and verse, and then will give you part of the verse. I am not going to give you all of the verse, the point is for you to go and actually open your Bible and read the words in it. For the next few days the first one to post the rest of the verse will have something special coming to them the next time we meet. I want to get us all (this includes me) in the habit of reading our Bibles on a daily basis, if its only for a few minutes a day. You can also post comments about what each verse means to you if you would like. There will be a theme to each weeks verses, on Friday i would like for each of you to post what you think this weeks theme was. So spread the word to the rest of the kids and we will talk more about it on Wednesday night.

Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.
I think he is just saying that we need to set an example for others in the way we talk, live, act and show our faith.
Thanks, Joda. Your right, we might be the only Bible that some people will read. Thanks for the comment
